Applications to CoLAT must be made on the form which you can download from here.
CoLAT application form (33kb). This link will open the form in Word. To save the form only, click on the link with your right mouse button and save the file.
NOTE: the deadline for applications for grants to use in 2009 will be Friday 10 October 2008.
You must also read and follow the Guidelines for Applicants, read this: Guidelines for Applicants
Applicants must ask one referee for a reference for an application. This should be somebody in any walk of life who can give an accurate and fair opinion on your project. You must send the Referee Report Form from here to the referee, and ask that person to send the reference, in confidence, to the Secretary before the submission date for your application. If the reference does not arrive in time, your application will not be considered.
The reference is confidential and will not be divulged by CoLAT.
It is up to the applicant to ensure that the reference arrives at CoLAT on time.
You must also send CoLAT an interim report on the project about half way through the project. See the Guidelines for Applicants for further details.
You must finally send CoLAT a Grant Payment Form, to claim the grant, which includes a section for a brief final report.
